Clayton Budd is CITIZENS AND COLLABORATORS’ Founder & Principal. Clayton is an award-winning designer with over 20 years’ experience in interior, graphic, multimedia design and branding. His background includes international and high-profile projects with global brands, including IKEA Canada, Cineplex, LCBO, Converse Canada, CBC, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and Freed Developments, to name a few. He launched CITIZENS AND COLLABORATORS with the goal of forming a collective of the best design talent from various disciplines to create inspiring and impactful environments and experiences. Clayton believes ideas are best brought to life through teamwork and collaboration, a principle that underscores all of his client relationships and has proven to be one of the keys to his success.

Barb Matheson is CITIZENS AND COLLABORATORS’ Managing Director overseeing all internal marketing & communications efforts, as well as playing a key role in client strategy & creative direction. Barb has over 16 years' experience in the entertainment industry holding various executive positions in marketing, PR and communications. Most recently, she spent nearly 10 years as Walt Disney Studios Canada’s director of publicity & promotions where she was responsible for creating and executing the national publicity & promotions strategy for some of the biggest film releases of all time, including hugely successful campaigns for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Marvel’s The Avengers, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast, to name just a few. Prior to that she was director of publicity and communications at Eone Films where she devised and led the publicity campaign for the Canadian release of Twilight among many other titles, and director of publicity at Alliance Films. She began her career in PR & communications at CHUM Limited working on programming publicity and corporate communications for CHUM’s radio & television properties.
