Create a temporary installation at IDS16 to promote Ontario Wood and their numerous partner suppliers, fabricators and craftspeople on a limited budget and within 3 short months.
Zeroing in on the key message of buying local, we created a multi-sensory 360 experience that would connect with visitors on an emotional level – by playing to their sense of pride and feelings of nostalgia. The Ontario Wood Trading Post is part homage to our proud history and part cozy get-away cabin to contextualize local wood products in a relatable and inspired way. Inside, each cabin was styled with carefully curated pieces by Ontario Wood partners to touch on themes of our everyday lives – work – live – play.
No detail was overlooked. From the #woodloveon branding of the experience, to every visitor touchpoint, each element was devised to engage.
